Here are a few things to keep in mind.
You can come with or without makeup on. I will be cleansing your face anyways, so it’s ok either way. (But it does go faster if you are not wearing waterproof mascara). I also think you are beautiful either way.
It’s easier and less to worry about if you are not wearing jewelry. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but a few clients have forgotten their jewelry. (They look great on me now. JUST KIDDING).
My spa room is a no judgment zone. You do not need to apologize for breakouts, redness, unpainted toenails or falling asleep during the facial. The thing I care most about is serving you.

Absolutely! If you are dedicated to using the products recommended by Gina, following her detailed instructions, and regularly checking in with her, you are wholeheartedly encouraged to participate in the Acne Bootcamp. Success in controlling your acne is entirely possible. While it may take a bit longer without getting facials from Gina, it is achievable.

Usually downtime is referred to after you have received a peel. A peel accelerates the removal of layers of skin, leaving these new layers exposed a tad earlier than your body planned. It is sensitive to the sun and can burn and leave dark spots easier after a peel. So avoiding things like sun exposure, hot tubs, and working out is necessary. You will be given post peel products that are hydrating and gentle so you will not want to use products that have active ingredients. You will also not want to wax, use hair removal creams or products at this time either. Downtime for a microchanneling is minimal. For the first 90 minutes after your microchannel facial, you will not want to put anything on your skin. For the remainder of that day, I suggest you avoid sun exposure.

For the first 48 hours, I want you to avoid heat, sweating, friction, hair removal. You will also need to avoid touching your skin too much (this will be tempting because your skin will feel so much better!). Make sure you hydrate and use clean pillowcases and towels.
Don’t forget to wear SPF and re-apply every 2 hours.I also suggest you do not workout or go play golf, pickleball or tennis afterwards.
